At about 0030h today police say that the reputed husband of Geeta Boodhoo, 30 years, of Phase 2, Tuschen New Housing Scheme, EBE, smashed his way into her home through a glass window and inflicted severe chops with a cutlass to her and others who were in the home.
As a result Boodhoo’s mother Bibi Zalima Khan, 55 years; her daughter Ashley Boodhoo, 9 years; and upholsterer Floyd Drakes, 30 years, also of Tuschen New Housing Scheme, succumbed to their injuries.
Geeta Boodhoo has been admitted to hospital in a serious condition.
The suspect is not yet arrested as the investigations continue.
