The gigantic building at the corner of Robb and Camp streets will likely be opening its doors early next year and part of it will be occupied by a call centre. The owner of the building has kept a low profile amid several controversies during its construction.
In recent days there has been an acceleration in work on the interior of the building. A number of 20-ft containers was also rapidly unpacked in the evening hours last week with equipment and furnishings for the building.
The sign `Teleperformance’ is now visibly displayed on the building.
When construction began last year a prominent sign was erected stating that the building would house a Food Court. It is unclear if this is still on the agenda.
As it has no parking facilities, the six-storey building is likely to add to severe traffic congestion in the area if it hosts businesses that usually attract many customers.
