Major upgrades and the construction of new roads are scheduled for areas on the East Bank of Demerara from Eccles to Diamond as tenders for the projects were opened yesterday. The bids were opened when the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB) held its weekly bid opening at its Main and Urquhart streets office.
Divided into five lots, the names of the respective companies and their bids are shown in the table below.
