For the sixteenth year, Ansa McAl Trading Limited presented six mothers at the Georgetown and Berbice hospitals with ‘Cheekies Bundle of Joy’ hampers after they gave birth on New Year’s Day.
According to a press release from Ansa McAl Trading Limited, the ‘Cheekies Bundle of Joy’ annual promotion offers a special gift to each mother giving birth on New Year’s Day in the Georgetown and Berbice areas.
To the first boy and girl born on New Year’s Day at Georgetown Hospital, a Cheekies Hamper of 224 diapers and packs of baby wipes are given to the mothers. All other births would receive a hamper of 168 Cheekies Cloth Soft diapers and baby wipes.
The Georgetown recipients were Adesa Sealy of Georgetown Hospital who gave birth to the first baby of the New Year, a girl; Christien Jarie who gave birth to a girl also at the Georgetown Hospital.
The first boy of the New Year came from Georgetown at the Woodlands Hospital to Michelle Holder and the other Georgetown birth was to Shalima Nohar for whom the baby boy was her first child.
The other two hamper recipients were from the Berbice area, Sasha Dey and Ameena Morgow both of New Amsterdam Hospital who gave birth to a boy and a girl respectively.
Cheekies Brand Representative, Joel Lee said it was his and the company’s pleasure to support mothers as they ushered in a new generation and a new year filled with hope and promise.
