The Guyana Table Tennis Association (GTTA) will serve off its 2015 season on January 11 with an Open table tennis tournament from 10am at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.
The tournament will be sponsored by two former national junior players Jonathan Sankar and Orin Hickerson and is expected to attract the cream of the nation’s players including Kyle Edghill, Elishaba Johnson, Shemar Britton, Jamaal Duff, Bryton Murray (Berbice), Joel Alleyne, Paul Meusa, Sankar, Warren Hacksaw, Hickerson, Brad & Brandon Belle (Bartica), Remy Taitt, Devon Richmond, Xenophon Goliah, Gibran Sarfaraz (Berbice) Chelsea Edghill, Tiffani Barton and Angeli Persaud (Berbice).
Invitations are also extended to players who are interested.
Last month Sankar and Hickerson sponsored a senior and a junior tournament. The senior tournament was won by Hickerson and the junior tournament by Shemar Britton.
