Happy New Year! This gut-churning pile of garbage opposite the Ministry of Labour and close to one of the city’s major trading areas was one of the first sights that greeted Stabroek Business photographer Aubrey Crawford during his downtown walkabout on Tuesday. One can only hope that at least some things will change for the better this year.
