Minibus, BNN 3109 was yesterday speeding east along Robb Street and attempted to jump the intersection at Camp Street when it slammed into Toyota Spacio, PRR 949 which was heading south on Camp Street . The front of the car was crushed and the bus skidded into a nearby newspaper stand, turning turtle before coming to a halt some 50 metres away.
None of the drivers was injured but the conductor of the bus was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital where he was treated for head injuries and a fractured arm.
Traffic ranks promptly arrived on the scene and took statements from both drivers.
