Former World Boxing Council (WBC) Caribbean Boxing Federation (CABOFE) welterweight champion, Simeon ‘Candy Man’ Hardy’s career has taken off ever since he started campaigning in North America.
The undefeated knockout machine 13(10)-0-0 has since moved up in weight and will look to climb the light middleweight rankings in the fistic sport when he faces Vito Gasparayan 14(8)-3-5 on February 13 in the popular boxing elimination tournament, Boxcino.
Boxcino 2015 will make its season debut on February 13, featuring four exciting quarterfinal bouts in the junior middleweight division at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn.
The next week, the heavyweight quarterfinals will commence live from the Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, New York
The entire Boxcino 2015 series will be televised live on “ESPN Friday Night Fights.”
This exposure augurs well for Hardy who is a crowd pleasing fighter who goes for the knockout.
The Boxcino 2015 season debut will feature four quarterfinal bouts with the winners moving on to semifinals which will take place on April 3 and April 10.
Boxcino’s 2014 tournament spawned breakout stars Willie Monroe and Petr Petrov. Both are now world-rated No. 3 as well as future stars Brandon Adams and Fernando Carcamo.
