Qualfon’s new Providence call centre is near complete. The call centre will begin operations in April. A source told Stabroek News the new site is merely awaiting interior works, furnishing and fencing. Chief Sales and Marketing Officer Bob Dechant had previously stated that the company’s investment in the new 3,500-seat contact centre campus represented “a concrete sign that Guyana is a premier new location for the industry and that Qualfon believes in the future of Guyana.” Stabroek News understands that no work was done since last year December due to inclement weather.
