Young short story writers in Guyana and the Caribbean will have the opportunity to showcase their talent thanks to The Arts Journal.
The next issue of The Arts Journal is set to feature the short story and writers of this genre are being invited to submit their unpublished works, a release said. The release added that writers between the ages of 18 and 30 are eligible, once they reside in Guyana or the Caribbean region.
Furthermore, all submissions must be in English, between 1,500 and 2,500 words and submitted by April 30, 2015. Additionally, selected writers will be paid for their stories and will be featured in The Arts Journal Volume 10 Numbers 1 & 2.
All submissions must be sent as email attachments in Microsoft Word version 2003 or later to theartsjournal@live.co.uk, to The Editor, The Arts Journal. A brief biography must accompany each submission.
