The body of an unidentified man remains in the care of a funeral parlour following what is reported to be a family feud which led to his demise at Mahaica.
Stabroek News was informed last night that the dead man was picked up by the Lyken Funeral Parlour. A call was reportedly made by the police to retrieve the body.
Reports reaching this newspaper indicate that the man had become embroiled in an argument with his brother before he was fatally chopped. Reports further indicate that the body was picked up somewhere in Mahaica by the funeral parlour around 6.30pm. However, up to press time the man’s body remained unidentified.
