A lone bid was received yesterday for the procurement of a consulting firm to conduct a review of the Guyana Power and Light’s policies for hiring contractors and the collection of the consumer security deposit requirements.
With the procuring entity being the Ministry of Tourism, Industry and Commerce, the bid from Maurice Solomon and Company was opened at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board, Main Street, Georgetown.
The Ministry of Education also received prequalification bids from seven companies for the provision of consultancy services to that ministry.
The names of the companies are shown in the table below.
Meanwhile, the Guyana Energy Agency received bids for the supply and delivery of one new 4 x 4 vehicle.
