The Private Sector Commission (PSC) has said that the Opposition must be given some access to the state media during the elections campaign period and it called for political maturity from the parties.
In a press release yesterday, the PSC said while politicians have displayed a general increase in maturity in the last two elections this must continue. It also said that it is important “for the Opposition to be given some access to state media which will address the complaints of unequal access.”
Further, the group is calling for the resuscitation of the media monitoring unit and for all media houses
