  Taking matters into their own hands: This notice has been erected in the Main Street Avenue opposite Courts. It states that the family and friends of Captain Nicky Persaud and Cargo Handler David Bisnauth, whose plane went missing on December 28th last over the jungle in Region 8, will continue in their search and are seeking financial help from the public. Air Services Limited and the Guyana Civil Aviation Authority decided to end the search for the two men and their plane on January 19th, after more than three weeks of aerial and ground searches, came up empty. On December 28, 2014, the ASL Britten Norman Islander 8R-GHE disappeared while on a routine shuttle operation from Mahdia to Karisparu.
