A man accused of attempting to murder his cousin was yesterday committed to stand trial at the High Court.
Magistrate Zamilla Ally, who presided over the preliminary inquiry at the Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court said there was sufficient evidence to form a prima facie case against the accused and he would be committed to stand trial.
The allegation against Rayon Mentore is that on June 20, 2014 at 273 ‘A’ Field, Sophia he attempted to take the life of Matthew France.
France was stabbed multiple times to the chest during a fight.
