Former international cricket umpire Edward Nicholls will continue as chairman of the Georgetown Cricket Umpires and Scorers Association (GCUSA) selection committee.
At an executive meeting held at the Clerical and Commercial Workers Union office recently, Nicholls was selected to continue in the position he has been occupying for more than a decade, since the GCUSA started to function.
Along with Nicholls, Nigel Duguid, Hortence Isaacs and Randolph Rose are the remaining members of the selection committee.
Grantley Culbard was listed as head of the disciplinary committee which includes Emily Dodson and Colin Alfred. The training and examination committee consists of Duguid (chairman), Nicholls, Yosef Yisrael, Matthew Kissoon, Alfred and Clyde Layne.
Javed Persaud leads the entertainment and fund raising committee and the other members are Leyland Liverpool, Ryan Banwarie, Joseph Jeffrey, Kissoon, Yisrael, Heuvel Cunha, Layne, Linden Matthews and Zaheer Mohamed.
