Dear Editor,
I refer to Minister Edghill’s letter to the editor (‘SN did not attend the Lusignan ‘Night of Remembrance’ February 6) in response to your editorial ‘What Minister Edghill said at Lusignan.’
“Be reminded that the killings at Lusignan were not an isolated event. Like the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center and numerous other terrorist attacks around the world it must be remembered in its particular context and prevailing environment.”
This section of Minister Edghill’s letter raises serious questions. Edghill should be taken to task on his juxtapositions/analogies and futile attempt to seek refuge in “context.”
Yours faithfully,
George Daniels
