Over two hundred students from the North Georgetown Primary School were given a tour of the Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA) terminal building and aircraft museum on February 12 – kickstarting a busy tour season at the Timehri facility, a release from the CJIA said today.

Red Cross gets new ambulance to boost first aid response

The Guyana Red Cross Society (GRCS) is hoping to improve its service to the general public after receiving a $12.2M ambulance from the Japanese government The donation of the ambulance comes after months of planning between the Japanese Embassy and Guyana’s Foreign Affairs Ministry and is a part of the GRCS’s First Responders Ambulance Project.
