The Guyana Police Force (GPF) will be bolstering its efforts to curb illegal activities at the Guyana/Venezuela border, following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), among law enforcement agencies, for the use of the GPF’s patrol base, GINA said.The Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) document was signed by the GPF, the Guyana Defence Force (GDF), the Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA), Customs Anti Narcotic Unit (CANU) and the Guyana Energy Agency (GEA).This GINA photo shows Minister of Home Affairs, Clement Rohee, Guyana Police Force’s Assistant Commissioner, Balram Persaud, Chief of Staff, Guyana Defence Force, Brigadier Mark Phillips, Guyana Revenue Authority’s, Commissioner General Khurshid Sattaur, Head of Customs Anti Narcotics Unit James Singh, and the Guyana Energy Agency’s Head, Mahender Sharma during the signing of the Standard Operating Procedures.
