The Banks Malta Supreme U-13 semifinals were among six Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) matches rescheduled as a result of Thursday’s persistent rainfall.
The semifinals would have seen defending champions Gandhi Youth Organisation (GYO) against Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) in the first match set for 9.30am at the Malteenoes Sports Club ground and Everest Cricket Club opposing Transport Sports Club (TSC) from 1.30pm at the said venue. Four New Building Society (NBS) 40-over second division matches were also called off along with the lone Hadi’s World Incorporated first division two-day encounter between Guyana National Industrial Corporation (GNIC) and Police Sports Club at the Georgetown Cricket Club ground, Bourda.
However, late yesterday afternoon, GCA Competition Committee Chairman Shawn Massiah said three of
