A man was remanded to prison after he denied two counts of possession of narcotics read to him at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts yesterday.
It is alleged that on March 1, Oswald Moses, 39, had in his possession 15 grammes of cocaine. It is also alleged, that on March 3, he had in his possession 235 grammes of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking.
The unrepresented defendant pleaded not guilty to the charges when Magistrate Ann McLennan read it to him.
No facts on the matters were presented in court.
Bail was refused and the matter is adjourned for March 19.
