The Guyana Lottery Company has joined the growing list of supporters for the national rugby team ahead of its international engagement in Hong Kong later this month.
On Thursday, representatives of the company made a donation of water bottles and bags as the team held a film session with the coaching staff.
After winning their season debut with a 48-22 rout of Barbados last Saturday in their NACRA 15s encounter, the ruggers have switched into 7s mode for the Hong Kong challenge.
The ‘Green Machine’ will travel to Hong Kong to compete in the prestigious HSBC Hong Kong 7s tournament scheduled for March 27-29.
Guyana will then contest the first Olympic Qualifier in North Carolina on June 13-14. This will be followed by the Pan Am Championships in Toronto, Canada from July 11-12.
