The police today said they are probing two stabbing deaths at Yarrowkabra on the Soesdyke-Linden Highway and at Port Mourant, Corentyne.
The police say that at about 0700h. yesterday, the body of Gregory Hernandes, 64 years, of Sandy Babb Street, Kitty, Georgetown was found in a house on a farm where he worked at Yarrowkabra, Soesdyke/Linden Highway, with suspected stab wounds.
The police said that four men have been arrested and are in police custody assisting with the investigations into the circumstances surrounding his death.
And at about 0110h. today the police say that Karamchan Jagasar, 41 years, of Port Mourant, Berbice, was involved in an argument with another man in a bar at Port Mourant, during which he was stabbed to his chest.
Jagasar was pronounced dead on arrival at the Port Mourant Hospital, the police say.
The suspect has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
