A Beterverwagting man is in police custody after ranks during a search operation at his home found 27 kilograms of cannabis, according to Crime Chief Leslie James.
James told Stabroek News yesterday that police acting on information went to the man’s home located at Republic Drive, BV and conducted a search in his bedroom.
During the search operation, James said that ranks made the discovery. At the time only the man was in the house.
He is in police custody assisting with investigations and is expected to be charged shortly.
