A post-mortem examination was yesterday performed on the body of Quineza Benn, of Charity, Essequibo, by Pathologist Dr. Nehaul Singh who gave the cause of death as perforation of the heart due to a stab wound.
A man is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
The body of Benn was found on the roadway at Charity on March 17, 2015.
