Banks DIH Limited continued their support for the footballing discipline by becoming the major sponsor under the Banks Beer and Coca-Cola brands for the Golden Jaguars’ impending international fixtures against St. Lucia and Grenada.
At a media briefing yesterday held at their Thirst Park locale, the Beverage giants announced the move in the presence of the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) Normalization Committee and members of the Golden Jaguars’ management and team roster. Chairman of the GFF Normalization Committee Clinton Urling thanked the institution for sponsoring the event while noting it is a great opportunity for the viewing public to witness the Golden Jaguars compete on local shores after a long hiatus. Guyana is slated to face off with St. Lucia on Sunday March 22nd at the National Stadium in Providence. They will also oppose Grenada on March 29th at the same venue.
Urling further called on the populace to come out and support the team in the two fixtures as they prepare for the impending 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualification campaign.
