National player Priyanna Ramdhani captured two titles as the
Guyana Badminton Association Trophy Stall annual age group singles tournament continued last week at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.
Ramdhani carted off the U15 and U19 categories.
In the Under-19 girls final she defeated Abosaide Cadogan 21-2, 21-6 while Amanda Daniels defeated Shonatta Lowe 21-17, 21-19 in the third place playoff.
In the Under-15 girls final Ramdhani again got the better of Cadogan winning 21-0, 21-2 with Siya Persaud defeating Cassia Lewis 21-11, 21-17 for third place.
Tyreese Jeffrey won the boys U15 final defeating Akili Haynes 21-19, 18-21, 21-15. Third place went to Ransell Ramsaroop
The tournament continued yesterday with play in the boys’ Under-19 and U13 finals.
