Customs and Border Control officers being trained on Environmental Agreements

Over the next three days, Customs and Border Control Officers will be participating in a workshop aimed at building capacity in the area of Multilateral Environmental Agreements (MEAs) and their enforcement, a release from GINA said today.European Union Representative Robert Kopecky joined the Guyana Revenue Authority’s (GRA’s) Commissioner General Khurshid Sattaur along with CARICOM Secretariat’s General Counsel, Safiya Ali and other dignitaries for the opening ceremony held at the GRA headquarters, Camp Street. The workshop is a collaborative venture among the GRA, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and CARICOM, GINA said.
