The Stag Beer sponsored Brooklyn x2 promotions inter-ward knockout football tourney will continue tomorrow at the Mackenzie Sports Club (MSC) ground in Linden with a quarterfinal doubleheader.
In the opening fixture at 19:00hrs, Amelia’s Ward will lock horns with Canvas City while the feature contest of the night will pit Silver City Valley Combined against Silvertown at 21:00hrs. Upon the conclusion of the quarterfinal stage, the semi-final round will commence on April 3rd at the same venue.
The event which will conclude on May 6th at the same location after the resulting Linden Town Week, will be contested for over $700,000 in cash and prizes. Event victors will walk away with $400,000 and the championship trophy while the second place side will receive $200,000 and the respective trophy.
The third positioned side will receive $125,000 and the corresponding trophy while the fourth place finisher will receive $75,000.
