The Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) on Friday announced that a tax centre will open at Diamond on Wednesday, April 1st on the ground floor of the G3 building.
A release from the GRA said that this would allow taxpayers to submit their returns there and access taxpayer services.
It said that utility and other services have already been put in place and there is also a signboard. The GRA said that taxpayers will be able to file income, property, corporation and other tax returns, request compliance and apply for mortgage interest relief and their taxpayer identification numbers.
The GRA encouraged taxpayers on the East Bank to take advantage of the services offered at this location.
April 30th is the statutory deadline for the submission of individual income, property, corporation and capital gains taxes. Taxpayers can also visit the GRA’s regional offices at Parika in Region Three, New Amsterdam and Corriverton in Region Six, Bartica in Region Seven, Lethem in Region Nine and Linden in Region 10.
