Guyana celebrates technical cooperation with India

The Indian Technical and Economic Co-operation (ITEC) programme started 51 years ago and in 2012/13, 25 scholarships slots were allotted to Guyana.

Delivering remarks yesterday, during the observance at the Aagman Restaurant, Sheriff Street, Georgetown, Indian High Commissioner, Venkatachalam Mahalingam, pointed out that Guyanese have gained scholarships in several fields including culture, agriculture, Information Technology (IT), health and engineering.
