Cabinet has given the green light for a $1.16b contract for the repair of UG faculties.
HPS and Cabinet Secretary Dr Roger Luncheon on Wednesday also announced that no objections were made to a tender valued $34.3M for a consultancy for studies for the establishment of a business development unit, and a research and innovation fund at the University of Guyana (UG), under the Government of Guyana and World Bank Project.
A report from the Government Information Agency (GINA) said Luncheon announced that a $1.16b contract was greenlighted for the rehabilitation of UG’s faculties of Agriculture, Forestry, Technology, Natural Science and the School of Earth and Environmental Science, under the same project.
