I have sent several letters to Kaieteur News and also to Stabroek News but both newspapers refuse to print my missives in their letter columns. Stabroek News printed a letter from me only because it was critical of Mr Ravi Dev and the PPP/C.
These newspapers are biased against any letter that is pro PPP/C. Their letters columns are the exclusive territory of APNU+AFC. This is unfair to the reading public and they are not fulfilling their mission to be fair and open to all opinions.
The various watchdog committees should look into this matter.

Editor’s note
Stabroek News routinely publishes pro-PPP letters from various writers. The one from Mr Mohabir which we did publish on March 11, captioned ‘Will the PPP invite ROAR to join it?’ was most certainly not critical of Mr Ravi Dev, and was at worst only mildly critical of the PPP/C. Mr Mohabir’s other letters have failed to meet our various requirements – none of them political – for letters to be published in our column.
