The Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) will seek to win the Georgetown Cricket Associations’ (GCA) New Building Society second-division competition when they oppose Transport Sports Club from 10am today at the Malteenoes Sports Club ground, Thomas Lands.
Should GCC be victorious it will be their third title triumph in three years following wins last year and in 2013.
According to a press release from the GCA, the presentation will take place immediately following the final.
Meanwhile, four matches are scheduled for the GCA, Noble House Seafoods second-division, two-day competition which takes place today and tomorrow.
The Gandhi Youth Organisation (GYO) will oppose Diplomats Sports Club (DSC) at the GYO ground; Everest Cricket Club (ECC) will play Guyana National Industrial Corporation (GNIC) at the GNIC ground; Third Class will oppose Ace Warriors at the University of Guyana ground and Muslim Youth Organisation (MYO) vs Sophia Cricket Club at the MYO ground.
All the matches are scheduled to commence at 11am.
