Gov’t launches training on health threats

The Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the Cuban Government yesterday launched a five-day training programme for health workers, in both private and public institutions in the area of emerging and re-emerging Public Health Threats.

GINA said that the workshop is being facilitated by two Cuban professionals and focuses heavily on the Ebola virus which is still on the radar, since its last outbreak in 2014.  The sessions are being held at the Regency Hotel, Hadfield Street.
