Marriott Hotel welcomes first official guest

The Marriott Hotel yesterday welcomed its first guest, REPSOL Country Manager Giancarlo Ariza. GINA said that among those present were Head of Atlantic Hotel Incorporated, Winston Brassington and Guyana’s Finance Minister Dr. Ashni Singh who described it as an “extremely exciting and momentous moment for all Guyanese”.
The controversial Kingston hotel will be formally opened today.
