Two of three youths, charged with stealing ATVs after breaking and entering a bond, were on Monday remanded to prison when they appeared in a city court.
Ryan Primo, 21, of Sophia, Jeremiah Frank, of South Ruimveldt Park and Terry Dick, 20, of 15 E Pike Street, appeared before Magistrate Annette Singh at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court 11, where they all pleaded not guilty. The charge stated that the trio, between April 13 and April 16, in Georgetown, broke and entered the storage bond of Yolanda Price and stole two Honda ATVs, valued $7M.
Attorney Mark Conway represented Primo and sought bail for him, while noting that the stolen ATVs were not recovered in the possession of his client.
Prosecutor Deniro Jones had no objections to bail being granted to Primo. However, he objected to the other two defendants being granted bail, while noting that they already have a pending matter of a similar nature before another court. Jones further stated that the ATVs were recovered in a canter and that Frank was allegedly making arrangements for their sale. Bail was then set at $300,000 for Primo, while Frank and Dick were remanded to prison. They were ordered to return to court on May 4 for the filing of statements.
