From today top local T20 players will display their skills on the field over the next three days as the Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA)/Carib Beer T/20 fever enters its second week.
Some of the top players expected to be on show are Christopher Barnwell, Steven Jacobs, Leon Johnson, Trevon Griffith, along with several top players from Berbice, Royston and Esuan Crandon and Assad Fudadin, who are expected to turn out for Guyana National Industrial Corporation.
From 9.30am today, Gandhi Youth Organisation will tackle University of Guyana at Malteenoes Sports Club (MSC) ground while in the afternoon, host MSC will take on GNIC.
At the same venue tomorrow, Transport Sports Club (TSC) will face GNIC at 9.30am while in the afternoon match, Everest Cricket Club will play against last year’s runners-up, Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC). On Sunday, host MSC will compete against TSC while Everest will visit Demerara Cricket Club (DCC).
Cricket lovers can gain free entry into any of the listed venues.
