Lancaster secondary gets new wing

The Lancaster Secondary School at Unity, Mahaica commissioned a new wing, which houses a computer lab and an Industrial Engineering department, on Wednesday.

According to a report from the Government Information Agency (GINA), the Lancaster extension, which is a part of the Ministry of Education’s mission of attaining universal secondary education, will equip the computer lab with 17 computers.

The ribbon cutting ceremony was attended by the Chief Education Officer Olato Sam and Chairman of Region Four Clement Corlette. In his comments, Corlette expressed appreciation for the much needed improved facility, GINA noted.
