Massy Trading has announced a partnership with Unilever under which it will distribute a range of Unilever household products on the Guyana market.
At an official launch yesterday at the Massy Staff Facility R5 Ruimveldt, the brands which have now been added to the Massy distribution were displayed: Breeze soap powder, Quix dishwashing liquid, Blueband, Flora and I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter margarine, along with Comfort, Cif, Radiante, Mistolin and Skip.
According to a release from Massy, yesterday’s launching marked another milestone for the Unilever/Massy Trading partnership.
Noted also is the history of success both companies hold; Massy being distinguished by a range of products it distributes while Unilever boasts over 300 brands which are utilized by consumers worldwide every day.
Unilever, as part of the introduction of its products, has also offered training to the staff members of Massy Trading, in order to ensure the successful marketing of the products.
Delivering an address at the launching, Unilever Export Sales Manager Ronald Elcock expressed optimism about partnering with Massy and adding another country to its international market list.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Massy Distribution (Guyana) Inc Roy Prasad also spoke of his delight in the partnership and pledged Massy’s commitment to honouring its mandate in distributing the home care and spreads brands.
Prasad noted that the launching celebrated the beginning of a partnership between two great organizations, one which is a global power house in the manufacturing of food and consumer products and the other a competent food and consumer products distribution company.
The CEO emphasized the strong distribution network the company has established which covers a wide range of the local market from Berbice to Essequibo and the state-of-the-art distribution centre owned by the company which he described as “one of the best in the Caribbean.”
With the intent of starting the partnership with a bang, the Breeze Independence promotion was also launched.
In honour of Guyana’s 49th Independence Anniversary, Breeze is celebrating by giving customers a chance to win over $1 million in cash and prizes. The promotion starts tomorrow.
