The Ministry of Education ground on Carifesta Avenue is set to come alive today with cricket and football action in matches hosted by the Queen’s College Allied Arts Department and South Turkeyen sport committees.
The day’s activities will feature a five-a-side small goal under-15 tournament for schools and area teams, and a four-over softball cricket competition for boys, girls and parents.
Winners will be awarded with trophies and medals provided by Trophy Stall of Bourda Market, Bannas Foundation, Johnny Barnwell and family, Tent City, Zamen Ally and Attorney-at-law Joseph Harmon.
Action will get underway at 9am.
