National junior player Kyle Edghill and national cadet player Jeremey Singh are competing at the 2015 Canadian Open World Junior and cadet circuit event
The event, in Markham Ontario, Canada, is one of the prestigious world junior and cadet circuit events organised by the international table tennis federation and is scheduled to end tomorrow.
The duo left Guyana on Saturday last to compete in the event.

And Edghill and Singh, two emerging talents are expected to benefit tremendously from the engagement, a release from the GTTA stated.
“The tourney provides the opportunity for Kyle and Jeremy to benefit from much needed exposure in view of developing their tactical and technical capacity, gain critical world ranking which is key to advancing their competitiveness in future international and regional competitions,” the release added.
Edghill is competing in the 18-years-and-under boys’ singles and team events while Singh is competing in the cadet boys’ singles and team events.
Play will be in the Pan Am Centre and the event is being used to test the preparation The team is managed and coached by Lisa Lewis
Chelsea Edghill has participated in this event with great honours having won gold in the girls’ cadets in 2012 and Bronze in 2013.
