The transition team overseeing the change in administrations is to meet this afternoon.
This comes mere hours after newly elected President David Granger in his swearing in speech said that a team from APNU+AFC and the former government would be formed to ensure a smooth transition.
APNU General Secretary Joseph Harmon will head the team for the new government. Stabroek News understands that the former government’s team would be headed by former Head of the Presidential Secretariat Dr Roger Luncheon. At this afternoon’s meeting a number of issues are expected to be discussed.
