Dear Editor,
It is with great interest I note that the Private Sector Commission has finally joined the chorus of voices imploring on the PPP to accept the results. One member of the PSC committee should attract particular attention. This businessman has been a prominent and highly visible supporter of the past regime and it would be highly entertaining to see how the new administration responds to his overtures. I suspect that there will be many more like him in the very near future. Unfortunately this was exactly how the PPP became unhinged from ethical concerns and started the slippery slope towards corruption. I sincerely hope that Mr. Granger is polite but firm in dealing with these professional “soup drinkers”, a term that I expect we will hear bandied about a lot more frequently in the future.
Yours faithfully,
