An armed security guard and two Edward B Beharry Company Ltd salesmen were robbed yesterday at Nonpareil, East Coast Demerara by two gunmen.
A police statement indicated that the salesmen and the security guard were conducting business at a shop in the village when they were held up by two men armed with handguns. The gunmen stole the security guard’s .32 psitol with 10 rounds and an undisclosed sum of cash, escaping on a motor cycle.
Police stated that investigations are in progress.
