Dear Editor,
The drive to clean up the city for independence and more likely for President Granger’s official inauguration is laudable. However, I hope that after this major event we do not revert to our current garbage-ridden environment.
However, the main point of my letter is to warn the new administration about ‘begging’ or getting ‘free’ help from individuals and companies which may be looking for favours in return for their apparent generosity, as I do believe the central government in conjunction with the city council should be funding this exercise.
