Puran Brothers Disposal Inc has joined the ongoing national clean-up campaign by offering free collections to groups and organisations in the city.
According to Kalesh Puran, General Manager of the company, the free service, which commenced yesterday and is intended to coincide with independence observations, will be available mainly to central Georgetown. It will run until May 31.
Trucks will be collecting waste upon requests made by a group or organisations free of cost.
However, persons are advised to give a day’s notice to facilitate an organised schedule, Puran said. Today, collections will be done along Avenue of the Republic, Woolford Avenue and from Church Street to Fourth Street, in Alberttown.
Other groups or organisations interested in obtaining the service can make contact with Puran Brothers on telephone numbers 603-5051 and 264-3289.
