President David Granger yesterday swore in two vice-presidents and one more minister at the Ministry of the Presidency.
According to a GINA press release, Minister of Indigenous People’s Affairs Sydney Alicock and Minister of Foreign Affairs Carl Greenidge received instruments of office after being sworn in by President Granger as vice presidents.
There are two other vice-presidents who were previously sworn in: Prime Minister Moses Nagamootoo, who is First President and Minister of National Security Khemraj Ramjattan, Second Vice President.
Meanwhile Dawn Hastings was sworn in as Minister within the Ministry of Communities.
Members of the government, including the President and Prime Minister number 27. However, according to GINA, only 15 of the ministers sworn in will serve in the Cabinet.
