(Barbados Nation) There are no recent major complaints of mistreatment from Guyanese people living here.
At least, not to the consulate.Guyana’s consul general in Barbados, Michael E. Brotherson, said his office had received only “one or two” complaints but, for the most part, Guyanese living here were content.
“Over the last 18 months, no. The establishment of the consulate here was aimed primarily at working with the people and Government of Barbados and the relevant agencies to have our nationals living here represented and I daresay we have been collaborating well with the concerned agencies here,” he added.
