City Hall has issued an edict for the closure of Bourda Market today so as to facilitate the sanitisation of the area.
According to a press release from the Mayor and City Councillors (M&CC) of Georgetown, the sanitisation is a part of the massive clean-up of Georgetown which commenced about three weeks ago and “the exercise will be replicated to other municipal markets.” M&CC also expressed regrets for any inconvenienced caused.
